The Ash Linear LED Pendant 3001AH is a solid timber LED fitting designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living in Australian homes. The body is white ash solid wood / solid white ash, the LED is integrated, and the colour temperature is set at 3000K, 4000K or 6000K when the fitting is built. It is made in 3 lengths, from 120cm to 180cm, so it can be matched to the surface beneath it.

Common questions

What size linear pendant do I need for my dining table?
As a rule, choose a pendant between half and two-thirds the length of the table. The 120cm suits tables around 1.8–2.4m, and the 180cm suits 2.7m and longer. If you are between sizes, the longer fitting almost always looks more considered.
How high should a linear pendant hang above a dining table?
Hang it 75–90cm from the tabletop to the underside of the fitting. That lights faces without glare and keeps sightlines across the table clear. Over a kitchen island, 90–100cm above the bench is usually right because people stand rather than sit.
Can I dim this light?
Yes. The manufacturer confirms the range is dimmable. Ask us to confirm the dimming method for your installation before you buy a wall dimmer, and have your electrician match the dimmer to the driver.
Is it real timber?
Yes. The body is white ash solid wood / solid white ash. Grain and tone vary slightly between pieces, as they do with any solid timber product — that variation is the point, not a fault.
Can I install it myself?
No. All hardwired electrical work in Australia must be carried out by a licensed electrician under AS/NZS 3000. The fitting arrives pre-wired, so the job is quick.
