The Ash Timber LED Wall Light 2601ASH is a solid timber LED fitting designed for bedrooms, hallways and vanities in Australian homes. The body is natural finish ash wood, the LED is integrated, and the colour temperature is set at 3000K, 4000K or 6000K when the fitting is built. It is made in 4 lengths, from 28cm to 86cm, so it can be matched to the surface beneath it.

Common questions

How high should a wall light be mounted?
Mount the centre of the fitting 1.5–1.7m from the floor in a hallway, or roughly level with the top of the bedhead beside a bed. Above a mirror, allow at least 20cm of clearance so the light spreads rather than spotlights.
Is this wall light suitable for a bathroom?
Not as standard. This is an interior fitting without an IP rating, so it should be kept out of bathroom wet zones. Ask us before ordering and we will confirm what is suitable for your layout.
Can I dim this light?
Yes. The manufacturer confirms the range is dimmable. Ask us to confirm the dimming method for your installation before you buy a wall dimmer, and have your electrician match the dimmer to the driver.
Is it real timber?
Yes. The body is natural finish ash wood. Grain and tone vary slightly between pieces, as they do with any solid timber product — that variation is the point, not a fault.
Can I install it myself?
No. All hardwired electrical work in Australia must be carried out by a licensed electrician under AS/NZS 3000. The fitting arrives pre-wired, so the job is quick.
