Do I need a special dimmer switch? +
Yes — you need an LED-compatible dimmer switch. Standard on/off switches work but won't enable dimming. Ask your electrician to fit a leading-edge or trailing-edge LED dimmer when installing.
What size for my dining table? +
Choose roughly two-thirds the length of your table. 120cm for 4-seater tables (160–180cm). 150cm for 6–8 seater tables (200cm+). For islands, 60–70% of the island's length works perfectly.
How high should I hang it? +
Hang the bottom of the fixture 70–80cm above the tabletop or benchtop. This keeps it in comfortable line of sight without blocking views across the table.
Can I install it myself? +
No — all hardwired electrical work in Australia must be done by a licensed electrician under AS/NZS 3000. Installation typically takes 30–60 minutes.
What if it doesn't suit my space? +
